Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov explained what happened after the finish of the team sprint at the World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany.
After the finish of the team sprint, Alexander Bolshunov did not approach his compatriot Gleb Retivykh and did not thank him for the race. Bolshunov passed the baton to the Zealovs with a four-second advantage before the last stage, but in the end Russia gave way to Norway and Finland, finishing in third place.
At the World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, Alexander Bolshunov won gold in skiathlon, silver in relay and marathon and bronze in team sprint. The Russian also won the prestigious Tour de Ski race and won the overall World Cup.
Earlier, Bolshunov explained his refusal to communicate with the press after the sprint at the World Cup.
