US President Joe Biden, following his participation in the EU summit, announced Washington’s desire to interact with the European Union on foreign policy issues related to Russia, China and Turkey. This was reported by the press service of the White House.
In addition, Biden noted the need to continue US-EU engagement on Turkey, the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.
The American leader also reaffirmed his commitment to “revitalize US-EU relations.”
“He (Biden. – RT) said that it is in the interests of the United States for the EU to be strong, ”the White House added.
Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, following talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, said that the United States and the European Union had agreed to coordinate actions with regard to Russia.
