Demonstrations have increased since last week after the general staff’s call for the resignation of Nicole Pachinian. The conflict around Nagorno Karabakh had already interfered with Eurovision in 2016 when the Armenian candidate Iveta Moukoutchian had waved the flag of the separatist republic, drawing the wrath of the organizers.
