The head of the Sharjah Heritage Institute and the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Sharjah Heritage Days, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, discussed with the Macedonian Deputy Minister of Culture, Sadat Soleimani, ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of cultural heritage protection, in addition to exchanging knowledge and renewed experiences in this aspect, and developing the knowledge and intellectual approach that he adopts Countries towards the heritage, and realizing the importance of joint activities and their role in the meeting of civilizations and human contact between peoples.
This came during Al-Musallam’s reception of a Macedonian delegation on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the 18th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days.
Within the framework of the vital partnership between the International Council of Heritage Festivals and Folklore Organizations and the Sharjah Heritage Institute, Al-Musallam received the President of the International Council of Heritage Festivals and Folklore Organizations, Philip Biosant, and discussed a number of project ideas that would contribute to the continued advancement of joint work in protecting world heritage.
The Sharjah Heritage Institute also organized a meeting headed by Al-Muslim, attended by Professor Ator Martinez from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain, and a number of directors of the institute’s departments.
