“This new device is intended for very modest households,” whose “repayment capacities are deemed sufficient” but who “do not have access to credits distributed by conventional banking networks,” said the ministry in a press release.
An amount based on household income
Announced in October 2020 with a battery of measures to electrify the automotive market, this credit is 50% guaranteed by the State. Its amount varies according to household income, up to 5,000 euros repayable over five years. Designed to “ensure the lowest possible out-of-pocket expenses”, it can be combined with the ecological bonus and conversion bonus devices (up to 12,000 euros for a new electric, with local aid in addition).
Offered by social support services such as the Red Cross or the Federation of Rural Families, this microcredit is available for a purchase but also for a long-term rental or a rental with option to purchase, formulas that have the wind in stern.
