At least 14 people were injured on Sunday March 28 in a suicide bombing targeting Makassar Cathedral in eastern Indonesia. The attack took place after Palm Sunday Mass, a celebration which marks the beginning of Holy Week for Christians. The police did not give details on the state of health of the injured.

“Two people were riding a motorbike when the explosion occurred at the main gate of the church, the attackers were trying to enter the perimeter of the church”national police spokesman Argo Yuwono said. “The motorbike has been destroyed and there are body parts.
