Teammate reveals: ex-Boca star Guillermo Marino claims to have been kidnapped by aliens

There have been many excuses for training delays. But this one should be a novelty: An ex-Boca star told about aliens.

Argentinian midfielder Gustavo Lorenzetti said that his former team-mate Guillermo Marino once blamed an alien kidnapping for a delay in training. “Guillermo said he was late for training because he was kidnapped by aliens,” said Lorenzetti on the Brazilian TV show Lado B. “He explained to us in great detail what he felt about it and so on.”

“He said that they take your soul out, analyze it and keep an eye on you all the time,” continued Lorenzetti, who subsequently revealed that Marino’s creepy story should be believed: “I seriously believe in aliens, he has that explained plausibly and I believe him. It’s worth running on the Discovery Channel. ”

Marino played in Chile under Jorge Sampaoli

Marino and Lorenzetti played together at Club Universidad de Chile from 2011 to 2013. The coach was Jorge Sampaoli at the time, the squad also included Charles Aranguiz, who now plays for Bayer Leverkusen, and former Hoffenheim player Eduardo Vargas, who is under contract with Tigres UANL. The anecdote happened during the time together in Chile.

Before moving to Chile, Marino played for Newell’s, the Boca Juniors and Tigres. In 2016 he ended his career after further positions in his home country with Boca Unidos and Rafaela. Lorenzetti laced his shoes for the Chilean first division CD Iquique.
