South Korea starts administering Remdesivir to Covid-19 patients. The first care in July will be provided by the manufacturer Gilead, reports the control center for diseases and prevention. Health officials would negotiate the price with Gilead to ensure deployment from August.

Remdesivir is seen as a beacon of hope in the treatment of Covid-19 patients and has already been approved for emergency treatment in some countries, including the United States.
