BVB still hopes that Real Loan Achraf Hakimi will remain on hold beyond the summer. The company plans to talk to Madrid in the near future.
The very good relationship between BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke and Reals President Florentino Perez could prove helpful. He may also be hoping for an advantage in Erling Haaland’s personnel. Although it is not currently for sale and should not be an option before 2022, Real could already lay the foundation for a commitment by accommodating Hakimi.
BVB probably has Matching Right on real loan from Hakimi
Most recently, Hakimi consultant Alejandro Camano said that his client would return to Madrid. An offer from Inter Milan – the Gazzetta dello sport had reported an offer in the amount of 50 million euros – he denied. “There is currently no such offer,” he told the Moroccan weekly Assahif.
According to corresponding media reports, BVB at Hakimi is equipped with a so-called matching right, which means that it can catch up with any offers from other clubs to Real and thereby keep the player. In two years at BVB, Hakimi has developed into an indispensable right-back, who is causing a sensation especially in the offensive and already has 18 goal appearances in the current season.
