I DO NOT KIDNAP THE BOARD TO JEREMIC: Dragan Djilas’ reaction to the article in “Novosti”

After some time, the initiative boards move to the status of municipal boards and this is a process that has been going on for the last two months. There is no talk of any “kidnapping” of anyone’s boards or members. These are committees that have been leading from the beginning and in which officials and activists are members of the SAA.

This was stated by the president of the SAA, Dragan Djilas, reacting to the text published in “Novosti” on February 20, under the title “Djilas kidnaps Jeremic’s boards”. Djilas claims that it is not true that he “kidnaps Jeremic’s boards and that in the action of strengthening the party he is massively seizing the membership and officials of other parties.” The leader of the SAA also claims that it is incorrect that “through Zoran Lutovac he keeps the DS in a state induced by whom and it is not known who the head of the DS is”, adding that the SAA did not “occupy” the DS premises in any place in Serbia:

– Neither I nor any of my associates in the SAA have anything to do with the internal affairs of the DS. Lutovac is the president of the DS, with whom we are cooperating in partnership on numerous political issues.
