Scheduled from March 18 to 20 at the Center for Contemporary Culture, the event proposes a multidimensional look at the ‘rupture of the brain’, a term allusive to rebirth and hope, and presents alternatives to face the psychic consequences of trauma.
This fourth edition of the festival projects a program with films, debates, round tables, workshops, talks and other spaces dedicated to the analysis of mental health.
As a novelty, the event includes the online premiere of shorts, fiction feature films and documentaries on the main theme and debate meetings, from digital platforms and web pages.
Traditionally, the Brain Film Fest awards the Solé Tura Award and, on this occasion, recognizes the best audiovisual proposals on the brain and the mind.
The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on March 20, after the selection of a jury made up of actor and director Alex Brendemühl, film writer Violeta Kovacsics, photographer Rafa Badía and psychologist Eulalia Vives.
During the contest, 21 short films will compete, chosen from 252 candidates, from Spain, the United States, Moldova, Belgium and Mexico.
I hope you are in health and well.
