“Controversy about dismissal of secretary”

Justice Party lawmaker Ryu Ho-jeong apologized for the recent controversy over unfair dismissal of secretaries.

Rep. Ryu said on Facebook this afternoon, “My recent position on the controversy over the dismissal of the secretary is misleading, and I am heavily accepting that there are concerns and concerns about the Justice Party’s principle of respect for labor.”

Rep. Ryu added, “I deeply apologize to the workers, activists, party members, and supporters who may have recalled the heartbreaking memories of dismissal.”

Rep. Ryu said, “There are many citizens in our society who are not protected by the labor law, such as workers in workplaces with less than 5 employees, and workers with special employment, or who are not recognized for’laborerism’ at all.” And the Justice Party are the people that need to be protected, and they do not forget.”

Earlier on the 4th, Rep. Ryu held a press conference and filed a complaint with the current committee for former secretary Kim Mo, who raised controversy over unfair dismissal, and announced that he would hold legal responsibility for the party member who first posted a related article.

However, there have been criticisms from inside and outside the Justice Party that Ryu’s argument deviated from the’respect for labor’ that the party has kept as an important value.

Yesterday, Eun-mi Kang, chairman of the Justice Party Emergency Response Committee, also issued a’severe warning’ to Rep. Ryu, saying, “Is not the principle of’respect for labor’, which the Justice Party has been leading, is undermined, or is conveying words of concern.”

Representative Ryu Ho-jeong said, “You should not understand that you apologized to the attendant secretary for apologizing for the inappropriateness of the contents of the press conference last time, that is, for the part that was severely warned by the party.” He said.
