Nisrin Erradi’s “Dahaya Halal” series suspended by Saudi Arabia


#After the controversy created by “Dahaya #Halal” and scenes from #Moroccan actress #Nisrin #Erradi, the #General #Audiovisual #Commission (GCAM) in #Saudi #Arabia has decided to suspend the broadcasting of the #Saudi series. The authority has also decided to remove all advertisements from this series, broadcast on the #Shahid platform, on social networks.

#In a press release published on its official #Twitter account, the GCAM explained that it had decided to apply legal procedures against the institution that produced the series and the channel that broadcasts it on its platform. #She noted that “the series violates the rules on media content, and it has been found that it is not approved by the #Commission”.

#In recent days, #Moroccan actress #Nisrin #Erradi has found herself at the heart of a controversy on social networks in #Saudi #Arabia, because of her scenes in the #Saudi series, broadcast on the platform of the MBC group.

#Embodying the role of an adult woman who married a teenager in “misyar marriage” style, she has been severely criticized by #Saudi netizens. #Several of them denouncing a series which “offends #Saudi society and promotes the sexual harassment of children”.
