The new patients identified in the second group are distributed as follows: 9 in #Dakar-Plateau, #Kaolack, and #Touba; 5 in #Mbour; 4 in #Diourbel, #Louga, #Ouakam and #Sacré-Cœur; 3 in #Grand-Yoff, #Guédiawaye, HLM, #Mbao, #Parcelles-Assaines, #Saint-Louis and #Thiadiaye; 2 in #Fann, #Fatick, #Keur-Massar, #Liberté-4, #Liberté-6, #Linguère, #Mamelles, #Maristes, #Point-E, #Rufisque, #Sangalkam and #Yoff; 1 in #Bambey, #Bopp, #Dagana, #Darou-Mousty, #Diamniadio, #Dieuppeul, #Foundiougne, #Front-de-terre, #Guinguinéo, #Kaffrine, #Liberté-2, #Matam, #Mbacké, Médina, #Mermoz, #Nord-Foire, #Ouest-Foire, #Podor, #Scat-Urbam, #Sicap-Baobab and #Yeumbeul.

#In addition, cases of death and patients admitted to intensive care units are on the rise. #On the increase in the list of victims of the coronavirus, #Dr #Ndiaye said that eight (8) deaths were recorded in hospitals in the country on #Wednesday, #December 30. #At the moment, 42 serious cases are currently being taken care of in the intensive care units.
#However, the spokesman of the said ministry informed that 53 hospitalized patients were tested negative, therefore declared cured. #Nevertheless, #Dr #Mamadou #Ndiaye underlines that the state of health of the other patients is stable.
#Since the start of this pandemic, #Senegal has recorded 19,140 positive cases for the coronavirus, including 17,254 people cured, 410 dead. #So, they are 1475 sick to be under treatment.
The #Ministry of #Health and #Social #Action urges the populations to strictly observe individual and collective prevention measures.
