Three young men, 18 and 19, will face justice in connection with a serious accident that occurred at the end of November in Gatineau.
The collision involving three vehicles occurred in the early afternoon, November 28, on Montée Paiement at Chemin Saint-Columban, while one of the vehicles was traveling in the opposite direction.
A 70 year old woman was seriously injured. A 19-year-old young man was also injured in the crash.
After investigation, the SPVG arrested the three suspects in mid-December.
They will be charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
The driver directly involved in the collision will also be charged with causing injury through criminal negligence.
“Remember that on November 30, the SPVG asked the public for help in identifying the driver of a black van that had driven on Montée Paiement near the place where the collision had occurred on November 28. Thanks to the vigilance of citizens, the driver in question was identified shortly after the publication of the press release. He is a witness to the collision and is therefore not among those arrested in connection with this investigation. “
