We were able to briefly take charge of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro just before its officialization. We can thus share with you our first impressions on the smartphone through this grip.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has just been formalized alongside the Mi 10T, but also the Mi 10T Lite. This smartphone seems promised to a nice commercial success with its nice technical sheet at a price not excessive. We took it in hand to get a first idea of the proposed experience.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro technical sheet
The mirror effect: both beautiful and messy
First observation: the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro offers a fairly simple design, but well mastered. The weight of 210 grams could interfere in the hand, but the good finishes of the device compensate for this potential defect, in particular thanks to the slightly rounded sides of the rear surface which hug the palm well. Some will appreciate the flat screen which prevents bad handling on the edges of the slab. In return, the black frame around the display area does not go unnoticed at all. Nothing very bad, the smartphone is not particularly ugly. Note that the screen is drilled at the top left.
It is on its rear face that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro puts a few marbles to stand out, for better and for less. We take advantage of a clearly marked mirror effect. The glass on the back side is so reflective that you will have no trouble using it as a mirror. In itself, the result is successful, even elegant. Unfortunately, this aesthetic is also synonymous with clearly visible fingerprints.
From the back, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is therefore a very beautiful smartphone, but unfortunately it gets dirty too quickly. Still on the back side, we can also observe the rectangular photo module housed in the upper left corner in the vertical direction. The main 108 megapixel sensor sits at the top of it, underlined by a discreet “108MP Camera” mention. The module in question protrudes and makes the phone wobbly if you lay it flat on a table.
A 144 Hz screen certainly, but what about the brightness?
The point most highlighted by the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is its 144 Hz screen which wants to offer extreme fluidity to users. At the moment, I haven’t had time to form an opinion on the quality of this option. Note, however, that this is an adaptive mode adjusting the refresh rate to the content displayed. The 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel seemed efficient to me in displaying beautiful colors and quality contrast. It’s more about the brightness that I have some concerns for the moment, it seemed to me that the phone was not able to push the level high enough to guarantee readability in all circumstances. A complete test will allow us to confirm or deny this first impression.
For the rest, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro seems ready to seduce a large audience with its main 108 megapixel photo sensor, the power of its Snapdragon 865, its large 5000 mAh battery – accompanied by a 33 W charger in the box. smartphone – and its compatibility with the 5G network.
The full test of this product will be published shortly for a more detailed opinion.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro price and availability
In France, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will be available from October 26, 2020 at the recommended price of 569.90 euros for the version with 128 GB of storage and 599.90 euros for the one with 256 GB.
At that price, it should quickly make you forget the Mi 10 Pro, which was sold well above the average price usually charged by the Chinese brand.
