Trump “more and more angry” against China

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he was “increasingly angry” against China when he saw the heavy toll of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world and in the United States in particular.

“When I watch the pandemic spread its horrible face around the world, including the damage that has been done to the United States, I become more and more angry with China,” the US president tweeted.

The already strong tensions between the United States and China amidst a trade war have intensified with the worldwide spread of the coronavirus, which Donald Trump blamed on Beijing.

Donald Trump’s government estimates that China has concealed the initial magnitude and severity of the epidemic, which they believe has made the virus easier to spread and killed more than 500,000 people around the world.

And if Europe seems to have succeeded in controlling the spread of the virus, American health officials admitted on Tuesday not to “fully” control the pandemic and fear an explosion in the number of cases in the coming weeks.

Twenty-nine of the 55 American states and territories see the curve of new cases rising today, according to the American health authorities. Hospitalizations for coronavirus are increasing in 12 states.
