The Chinese Football Association has announced that the delayed Super League season will begin on July 25.
Football should soon return to China. In a statement, the Chinese Association (CFA) announces that the Super League, whose start to the season has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, may start on July 25.
“China’s fight to prevent and control the epidemic has produced major strategic results. The national situation for preventing and controlling epidemics continues to improve”, said the CFA in its press release.
“To satisfy people’s desire to see the resumption of the Super League, the Chinese Football Association decided, after studying the situation, that the Chinese Super League 2020 would be held in Suzhou and Dalian.” The clubs should arrive on site around July 21.
Recall that the Chinese championship should have resumed on February 22, a delay of five months compared to the schedule established beforehand.
