The amounts will be distributed in the various regions of the province. Note that more than 19 million will be allocated to Montreal, more than 12 million in Montérégie, more than 6 million in the Laurentians.
It is also more than $ 5 million that will be allocated to the CIUSSS of Estrie-CHUS where a 7-year-old martyred girl died as a result of the abuse she is said to have experienced.
Investments of $ 18 million to consolidate teams and offer them better support and $ 47 million to hire some 400 more workers to reduce waiting lists had already been announced in 2019.
