Accordingly, there were still entry bans for countries with high infection rates such as the USA, Brazil and Russia. The EU countries now advocated lifting the restrictions for the following 14 countries: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
The EU countries also put China on the list. For China, however, an additional condition is that the country ends its entry freeze for EU citizens. Entry bans remained in place for countries with high infection rates such as the USA, Brazil and Russia.
