#Manchester #United are set to have more competition in the race to sign #Jadon #Sancho.
The #Borussia #Dortmund star has been linked with a move to the #Premier #League and the #Red #Devils have been the likely landing spot.
#That is because #Manchester #United pursued #Sancho aggressively throughout 2020 but were unable to strike an agreement with #Borussia #Dortmund over how much exactly they were willing to pay.
#Now it appears #Chelsea and #Liverpool are also going to have a crack at snaring #Sancho.
#That is according to CBS #Soccer podcast #Que #Golazo, which reports that the #Blues and #Reds are keeping a close eye on #Sancho’s situation.

“I think he’s moving next summer,” sports journalist #Fabrizio #Romano said on the #Que #Golazo #Podcast.
“Yes, he was really one step away from leaving #Borussia #Dortmund this summer, #Manchester #United were really close to signing him for €100m, but then #Borussia #Dortmund changed their plans, but #Manchester #United had the agreement with the player and his agents, so everything was ready, and then the deal collapsed at the last stages.
“That’s why I say next summer, I expect #Jadon #Sancho to leave the club and be back in the #Premier #League.
“We have to understand if #Manchester #United will arrive with €120m (£109m), if they will be ready this time to sign the player or if they’ll take the risk of other clubs joining the race.
“I will say like #Liverpool, #Chelsea, and a lot of clubs are scouting the situation of #Jadon #Sancho, so at this point the race is open.”
MESSI’S GRAND PLAN REVEALED?
#Lionel #Messi admitted earlier in the week that a move to the #United #States is appealing, as is playing in the MLS.
#Now a report suggests #Messi is set to realise that dream but not before first staying put at #Barcelona.
#Messi was pushing for an exit from #Barca earlier in the year but now #José #Antonio #Ponseti, who currently works for #Ser string, told #El #Larguero that the #Argentine is going to stay put.
“Messi wants to hold out in #Barcelona and go to #Miami in 2023, so his children would go to high school before entering university,” he said.
#It would be consistent with what #Messi has publicly said, having admitted earlier this week that while unsure if it will happen, a moving to the US is certainly on his radar.
“I always said that I have the impression that I would like to enjoy the experience of living in the #United #States, of living in that league and that life, but if it happens or not I don’t know,” the #Argentine told #La #Sexta.
#Messi also maintained that he is not rushing to make a call on his immediate future for a key reason.
“I have nothing clear until the end of the year, I will wait for the end of the season,” he said.
“The important thing is to think about the team, finish the year, think about trying to get titles and not be distracted by other things.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen, I’m focused on what we have, on what can be done in these six months. I don’t think about how the year will end because today it wouldn’t be good for me to tell you what am I going to do because I don’t know.”
